Softline presented its new developments designed to improve the electronic document management system of Chernivtsi City Council. The presentation took place in Chernivtsi on 6 February 2015 with the participation of heads of departments, divisions and units of the City Council and Softline staff.

Softline Project Manager Olha Dembytska presented a mobile version of the "Megapolis.DocNet" software based on the UnityBase platform.

Since October last year, Chernivtsi City Council has been implementing the second phase of the Megapolis automated system for electronic document management and business process automation, which enables:

— fast electronic processing of appeals, requests for information and electronic applications;
— instant delivery of applications to the relevant unit responsible for handling them;
— timely responses to citizens' appeals and requests for information.

In addition, there is a software add-on to the website that allows Chernivtsi residents to submit an electronic appeal online in person to the mayor, the Secretary of the City Council, the Secretary of the Executive Committee and all deputy mayors. Residents can quickly receive a reply, which is delivered to their e-mail inbox, and, if they wish, have the question and answer published on the website.

In order to improve the electronic document management currently in place in the city council, Mayor Oleksii Kaspruk instructed that a list of City Council documents to be handled electronically from now on be drawn up by the end of February. Softline Vice President Oleksandr Smyrnov also proposed introducing new Softline developments in Chernivtsi for automating administrative service delivery processes.

Representatives of the Chernivtsi Regional State Administration and of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Department in the Chernivtsi region took part in the presentation of Softline's new developments.
