On 21 March 2003, Softline completed the first stage of developing the "Payment accounting" information system for the State Enterprise "Ukrainian Industrial Property Institute" (Ukrpatent). The project consists of three stages; the first of them (automation of the fees and payments accounting department) has been put into pilot operation. The system is intended to handle the accounting and analysis of payments for Ukrpatent’s services: examination of applications for industrial property objects, state registration of industrial property objects and issuance of protection documents. Completion of the work is scheduled for October 2003.
