On 27 May 2009, the 2nd International Conference "Defense Industry Forum 2009" took place in Kyiv. It was organized by the Center for Army, Conversion and Disarmament Studies with the support of the NATO Liaison Office in Ukraine.
Heads of defense industry enterprises, representatives of defense industry associations, officials from NATO and EU countries, and their Ukrainian counterparts met to establish favorable and fruitful cooperation.
