In March 2006, Softline specialists created and deployed a web resource for the Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman. The address of the new website is http://kneu.kiev.ua. This development became a pleasant gift for the client’s anniversary – the university’s 100th anniversary.
Visitors to the KNEU website will find plenty of useful and interesting information: the university’s structure, the history of its foundation and development, a list of faculties, news for applicants and students, teaching materials, as well as "search" and "forum" services (for registered visitors), and more. In particular, students will find class timetables and teachers’ work schedules on the website and will be able to receive remote consultations.
The launch of the website contributes to raising the overall level of openness, transparency and accessibility of Ukrainian educational institutions to the public.
Like a number of other websites developed by Softline specialists, the new KNEU website is built on the latest programming technologies – the Megapolis™.Portal Manager portal management system. This multifunctional system will enable KNEU staff to fully administer the web resource on their own – content management and management of the website’s services.
