Softline's Energy Department has implemented Megapolis™ Billing System, an integrated automated electricity consumption accounting system, at Kyivenergo JSC. The system simultaneously supports settlements with 328,000 customers for electricity consumed, based on payment slips, on bills generated from meter readings and on contracted consumption.
The system has fully automated the billing procedures and synchronised the databases of the Information Processing Centre, the Metering Equipment Shop and the Skhidne and Livoberezhne district power sales offices. Using the customer databases it created, the system has made it possible to record and monitor payments for electricity consumed, bringing transparency to this function at power companies.
The system is in operation at many power supply companies in Ukraine, at regional power companies (oblenergos), and in large and small cities; it adapts easily to any conventions adopted by different power supply companies.
