According to data published by Hostmaster, as of the end of November 2014, 647 thousand domain names were registered in the .UA domain. Compared with October, their number decreased by 1%, and compared with the same period last year, by 5.5%. This refers to first-level domains.
Meanwhile, the number of second-level domain names reached 17.94 thousand, which is 7.7% more than last year. All other names are third-level. A total of 60 public domains are available for registration: 54 geographic and 6 general-purpose. The largest public domain, com.ua, has 307 thousand names (a decrease of 0.9% compared with November 2013).
The number of domain addresses in the most popular geographic public domain, kiev.ua, decreased by 6.8% over the year, to 57 thousand names.
