At the EnterEX-2003 exhibition, held on 18–22 February at the KyivExpoPlaza exhibition centre, Softline presented Megapolis 2.1 Open Source, its own toolkit for modelling and developing enterprise information systems, as well as products of the Megapolis family. The company also took part in a round table and a conference devoted, respectively, to settlement systems in the energy sector and to the implementation of IT projects in the food industry.

Thanks to its uniqueness, Megapolis 2.1 Open Source caught the attention of the jury of the annual Digital Week Highlight competition organised by Euroindex and the Softpress publishing house. Megapolis™ won the "Best Software Solution" category, in which Microsoft Windows XP with a Ukrainian interface and the Person Pro system developed by the Ukrainian company AMI were also nominated.

Megapolis™ attracted the attention of many visitors to the exhibition, in particular representatives of software development companies and heads of automated management system departments at large industrial enterprises. For some of them, a closer look at the capabilities of Megapolis™ led to the signing, right at the exhibition, of partnership agreements on using Megapolis™ to build their own applications.

Visitors also showed interest in the Megapolis family of products for financial and management tasks: "Budgeting and Controlling", "DocumentFlow", iRenaissance and others. The "Megapolis.DocumentFlow" and "Megapolis.Budgeting and Controlling" systems drew interest from executives of holding companies, large industrial enterprises, banks and other government and commercial organisations. Most of them (more than 30) expressed interest in a seminar planned for the end of March on the methodology and automation of management accounting and budgeting at enterprises. The billing systems presented by Softline at EnterEX-2003 attracted the interest of representatives of a number of regional power distribution companies (oblenergos), manufacturers of specialised energy metering equipment, and consulting firms.
