Anton Marrero, one of the founders of Softline, received a special award from the International Management Institute (MIM-Kyiv) as one of the best and most successful graduates of the school. In making its choice, the MIM-Kyiv management relied on the results of the TOP-100 ranking by Investgazeta, in which Softline took first place among IT companies by net income in 2009.
"The most important and most telling sign of a business school's success is the success of its graduates. And achievements gained and sustained through a difficult era of economic and global transformation are especially valuable," says the International Management Institute (Kyiv). The best graduates of this business school, well known since Soviet times, were honoured with special awards and diplomas on 7 December 2010 at the InterContinental hotel.
This year, MIM graduates took several places in the TOP-100 ranking compiled by Investgazeta. Among those honoured, the heads of leading Ukrainian enterprises, was Anton Marrero, one of the founders and shareholders of Softline JSC.
"Anton Marrero is the pride of MIM-Kyiv," the school notes. "He sets a vivid example of how theoretical knowledge can be applied effectively in practice."
