On 16 August 2011, at the award ceremony for participants of the "Best Domestic Product of 2011" competition and exhibition, held at the National Complex "Expocentre of Ukraine", Softline IT received the status of "Manufacturer of the Best Domestic Goods" in the "Development of information systems and software" category. It also received the competition's top award. Softline IT won with its own developments, the Megapolis series of software products: the electronic document management systems Megapolis.DocNet and Megapolis.DocumentFlow.
The competition committee particularly noted the successful operating experience of the Megapolis systems and the demand for them in both the domestic and foreign markets. These document management systems are currently in use at more than 70 enterprises of various forms of ownership operating both in Ukraine and in countries such as Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and others. The expert jury noted that the Megapolis document management systems had received positive feedback from their direct users, employees of large Ukrainian companies who also took part in the exhibition.
Megapolis.DocumentFlow is a comprehensive software solution for building document management systems and automating business processes in public sector bodies. The distinctive feature of the second document management system, Megapolis.DocNet, is that it was created specifically for the needs of large commercial companies. This latest system was developed on the basis of 15 years of experience of Softline IT specialists (the company's former name was Softline JSC). Megapolis.DocNet enables a transition to fully paperless document management, and its interface is adapted to the needs of any user. Implementation experience shows that even a person who has never used a computer works with ease in the Megapolis.DocNet electronic document management system after a few hours of training.
The main goal of implementing Megapolis systems is to increase transparency, manageability and efficiency. These systems cover all stages of the document life cycle, from drafting documents to organizing their archival storage (with electronic archive and digital signature functions).
As Softline IT Vice President Oleksandr Smyrnov said during the award ceremony, "This award is very important to us as a high appraisal of the work of our team and partner enterprises. Together we create high-tech, competitive products, but most importantly, our clients like them."
It is worth noting that this is another award for software products developed by Softline IT specialists. The Megapolis.DocNet electronic document management system took first place in the "Modern electronic document management systems" category of the All-Ukrainian competition "Professional Award in Banking Technologies, Equipment and Services 2011" (held at the end of July). And Megapolis.DocumentFlow has become a best domestic product for the second time in the history of the national competition.
