Developed using advanced technologies, the new-generation system will replace outdated software and automate all business processes involved in selling goods and providing services at post office counters, from registering and pricing a service to generating the required reporting and operational documents. The system will generate data for transfer between the enterprise's management levels and will enable centralized maintenance of reference data and configuration of software algorithms and of the information and technological processes for registering and processing services (for example, generating and printing receipts). The system is scheduled to go into full-scale operation in the summer of 2004. The software is expected to be installed at more than 2,500 workstations across Ukraine.
