Partner companies Softline and InterSystems announce the creation of a powerful modern tool for developing distributed information systems on the CACHE DBMS.
The CACHE DBMS is an industrial post-relational DBMS with a wide range of data storage and processing capabilities, on which highly complex corporate information systems can be built using Megapolis™ (a technology for developing distributed applications). Both systems support an object-oriented approach to application development and therefore complement each other perfectly. Megapolis™ technology also makes it easy to integrate existing applications that use other DBMSs with applications that use CACHE. Web application development is made significantly easier and faster by using CSP (Cache Server Pages) to create front-end interfaces (the part of the application that most users work with) and Megapolis™ to describe business logic and create back-end interfaces (the part that system administrators work with).
The systems described above are currently expanding actively into new segments of the software development tools market and are, technologically, the most promising tools. As a result, the information systems market needs more and more specialists proficient in these technologies every day. That is why Softline and InterSystems actively participate in cooperation programmes with universities and support students in studying modern developments in database management systems (DBMS) and technologies for developing dynamic web applications based on the post-relational CACHE DBMS. To implement the educational programme, universities were offered unprecedented terms of cooperation: free training for teachers, substantial discounts on licences, teaching materials and curricula, as well as round-the-clock technical support.
Further information about systems built on Megapolis™ is available at softline.kiev.ua/en/document-management.
